# Accessing the NIOS CLI Using the Serial Console

1. <span style="color: #000000">Log in to the </span>*<span style="color: #000000">Redhat OpenShift Container Platform</span>*<span style="color: #000000"> web console.</span>
2. <span style="color: #000000">Navigate to the </span>**<span style="color: #000000">Workloads</span>**<span style="color: #000000"> tab -> </span>**<span style="color: #000000">Virtualization</span>**<span style="color: #000000"> tab -> </span>**<span style="color: #000000">Virtual Machines</span>**<span style="color: #000000"> tab and click the name of the virtual machine instance that you created.</span>
3. <span style="color: #000000">On the </span>**<span style="color: #000000">Console</span>**<span style="color: #000000"> tab, click </span>**<span style="color: #000000">VNC Console</span>**<span style="color: #000000"> or </span>**<span style="color: #000000">Serial Console</span>**<span style="color: #000000">, launch the NIOS CLI, and log in.</span>
