<span style="color: #000000">You must first upload the vNIOS image to a bucket in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environment, and then use it to create a custom image. To upload the vNIOS image in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, complete the following steps:</span>

> ⚠️ If you are deploying a vNIOS appliance by using a partner image published by Infoblox in Marketplace, skip this procedure and directly deploy the instance as described in <span style="color: #000000">*[Deploying vNIOS for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure](https://infoblox-docs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/vniosoci/pages/1930067977)*</span>.

Download the .qcow2 file for the **vNIOS for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure** offering by completing the following steps:

To upload the vNIOS image, complete the following steps:

2. <span style="color: #000000">Log in to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Console.</span>
3. <span style="color: #000000">Click the Navigation menu icon at the upper left-hand corner. Under </span><span style="color: #000000">*Core Infrastructure*</span><span style="color: #000000">, click </span><span style="color: #000000">**Object Storage **</span><span style="color: #000000">-></span><span style="color: #000000">** Object Storage**</span><span style="color: #000000">.</span>
4. <span style="color: #000000">On the </span><span style="color: #000000">*Buckets*</span><span style="color: #000000"> page, click </span><span style="color: #000000">**Create Bucket**</span><span style="color: #000000">. If you have an existing bucket where you want to upload the image, proceed to Step 7 directly.</span>
5. <span style="color: #000000">In the </span><span style="color: #000000">*Create Bucket*</span><span style="color: #000000"> dialog box, complete the following to specify the bucket details:</span>
  1. <span style="color: #000000">**Bucket Name**</span><span style="color: #000000">: Enter a name for the bucket.</span>
  2. <span style="color: #000000">**Storage Tier**</span><span style="color: #000000">: Select </span><span style="color: #000000">**Standard**</span><span style="color: #000000">.</span>
  3. <span style="color: #000000">Click </span><span style="color: #000000">**Create Bucket**</span><span style="color: #000000">.</span>
6. <span style="color: #000000">On the </span><span style="color: #000000">*Buckets*</span><span style="color: #000000"> page, click the created bucket to open it.</span>
7. <span style="color: #000000">On the </span><span style="color: #000000">*Bucket Details*</span><span style="color: #000000"> page, click </span><span style="color: #000000">**Upload Objects**</span><span style="color: #000000">.</span>
8. <span style="color: #000000">In the </span><span style="color: #000000">*Upload Objects*</span><span style="color: #000000"> dialog box, complete the following:</span>
  1. <span style="color: #000000">**Object Name Prefix**</span><span style="color: #000000">: Enter a file name prefix for the file.</span>
  2. <span style="color: #000000">**Choose Files from Your Computer**</span><span style="color: #000000">: Click </span><span style="color: #000000">**Select Files**</span><span style="color: #000000"> and upload the NIOS </span><span style="color: #000000">**qcow2**</span><span style="color: #000000"> file.</span>
  3. <span style="color: #000000">Click </span><span style="color: #000000">**Upload Objects**</span><span style="color: #000000"> and wait for the file upload to complete.</span>
