# What’s New in NIOS Modules for Ansible Collections Version 1.8.0

## Support for Managing Admin User and VLAN NIOS Objects

NIOS Modules for Ansible Collections includes modules that support the management of Admin User and VLAN NIOS objects. ## Support for vlan Field in the nios_network Module

## Support for the Next Available VLAN ID for the NIOS Next Lookup Plug-In

# What’s New in NIOS Modules for Ansible Collections Version 1.7.0

## Support for Extensible Attribute Definition and Inheritance (RFE-13499)

NIOS Modules for Ansible Collections supports the extensible attribute definition module. For more information, see *[Extensible Attribute Definition](https://infoblox-docs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/niosmodulesansible/pages/915963925)*.  
Additionally, for the host record, it supports the inheritance of extensible attributes for the host address and associated zone. For more information, see *[Host Record](https://infoblox-docs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/niosmodulesansible/pages/44624198)*.

## Support for Additional Types of Infoblox DNS Name Server Groups

NIOS Modules for Ansible Collections includes modules to support the following name server groups: Delegation Name Server group, Forwarding Member Name Server group, Forward/Stub Server Name Server group, and Stub Member Name Server group.
