Use the `telnet` command to communicate with another host using the TELNET protocol. 

# Syntax

The following is the command syntax:

`telnet`

The `telnet` command does not take any arguments.

When you run the `telnet` command in the administrative shell, it enters the command mode that is indicated by `telnet>`. In the command mode, run the necessary commands. To exit the command mode and return to the NetMRI administrative shell, run the `quit` command.

# Example

`netmrivm193> telnet`

`telnet>`
