<span style="color: #000000">Use the </span><span style="color: #000000">**Add range**</span><span style="color: #000000"> workflow to create a new network range on a NIOS appliance and to assign extensible attributes to the new range.</span>

<span style="color: #000000">To add a network range:</span>

1. Log in to the *VMware Aria Automation Cloud Services Console*.
2. On the **Services** tab, click **Orchestrator**.
3. In the **Dashboard** panel, <span style="color: #000000">expand </span>**Library**<span style="color: #000000"> and click </span>**Workflows**<span style="color: #000000">.</span>  
<span style="color: #000000">The </span>**Workflows**<span style="color: #000000"> folder and its contents are displayed</span>.
4. Expand **Library** > **Infoblox**, and select **Add range**.
5. Click **Run** in the top-level menu of the workflow panel.
6. On the <span style="color: #000000">**Connection**</span> tab, click **Connection to the IPAM server** and select the VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator Provider connection:
  1. In the **Select InfobloxIPAM:IPAMConnection** dialog, expand **Infoblox IPAM** and select the connection.
  2. Click **Select**.
7. <span style="color: #000000">On the </span><span style="color: #000000">**Range**</span><span style="color: #000000"> tab, specify the following parameters for the network range:</span>
  - <span style="color: #000000">**Start Address**</span><span style="color: #000000">: the starting IP address of the range.</span>
  - <span style="color: #000000">**End Address**</span><span style="color: #000000">: the ending IP address of the range.</span>
  - <span style="color: #000000">**Name of the range**</span><span style="color: #000000">: the name of the range.</span>
  - <span style="color: #000000">**Comments about the range**</span><span style="color: #000000">: a description of the range.</span>
  - **Disable for DHCP**: the option to disable creation of a DHCP record when this workflow runs.
  - **Network address of range’s network: Mandatory for IPv6 range**: the address of the range's network.
  - **Network CIDR of range’s network: Mandatory for IPv6 range**: the CIDR value of the range's network.
  - **Network view to which the range belongs**: choose the network view to which the range must be added.
8. On the **Member** tab, select **Assign a member** if you want to assign an Infoblox Grid member to the range, and specify the IP address or FQDN of the Infoblox Grid member and the member type.
9. On the **Number of attributes** tab, to assign extensible attributes to the network:
  1. In the **Number of specified extensible attributes** drop-down list, select the number of extensible attributes.  
According to the number you specified, additional tabs are added to define the extensible attributes. For example, if you specify the value as **2**, **Extensible attribute #1** and **Extensible attribute #2** tabs are added.
  2. On each **Extensible attribute #<*****n*****>** tab, define the extensible attributes you want to add to the network object:
    1. Click **Definition of the extensible attribute #<n>**.
    2. In the **Select Infoblox IPAM:IPAM Extensible Attribute Definition** window, expand the IPAM connection ID > **Extensible Attributes**, and select the extensible attributes.
    3. Click the **Select** button.
    4. In the **Value of the extensible attribute #<*****n*****>** field, specify a value.
10. On the **DHCP options** tab, select **Assign DHCP options. Only applicable to IPv4 ranges** and define DHCP options.  
**Note**: The **DHCP options** tab is available only when you assign a Grid member to the range.
11. On the **Restart DHCP service** tab, select **Perform restart of DHCP service if needed**.
