Deleting a deployment removes all VMs associated with it.

To delete a deployment, complete the following steps:

1. Log in to the VMware Aria ‌Automation Cloud Services Console and open the VMware Aria ‌Automation Assembler.
2. On the **Resources** tab, click **Deployments**.
3. On the deployment that you want to delete, perform one of the following:
  1. Click the vertical ellipsis (**ACTIONS** menu) and select **Delete**.
  2. Click the name of the deployment to open it, and then from the **ACTIONS** drop-down list, select **Delete**.
4. To confirm, click **SUBMIT**.  
The extensibility action InfobloxIPAM_DeAllocateIP is run, which in turn triggers the Release workflow to deallocate the IP address from the released VMs.
  

To delete a VM in a deployment:

1. Click the name of the deployment to open it.
2. On the canvas, click the VM resource that you must delete.  
VM details are displayed in the right panel.
3. From the **ACTIONS** drop-down list, select **Delete**.
4. To confirm, click **SUBMIT**.  
The extensibility action InfobloxIPAM_DeAllocateIP is run, which in turn triggers the Release workflow to deallocate the IP address from the released VM.
