Before configuring network discovery for Akamai, there are certain permissions that must be configured. This topic lists the permissions that need to be configured for Akamai. 

> ✅ The easiest way to grant these permissions is to clone the default Viewer role and add the Enhanced DNS - All privileges (add/edit/view) and Enhanced DNS - Edit/view only permissions.

## Permissions required for full read/write capabilities

The following permissions are required for full read/write capabilities:
