Google Cloud discovery has the following limitations:

- Universal DDI does not support GCP DNS tags.
- SPF records from GCP DNS are not synchronized with Universal DDI.
- GCP supports multiple values for a resource record set. After data synchronization, UDDI creates multiple records (one for each value that is specified in GCP).
- SOA records synchronized from Universal DDI to GCP DNS may take several sync intervals to update. The SOA details that support synchronization are refresh, retry, expire, negative TTL, RNAME, and default TTL.
- The MNAME field is not synchronized between GCP DNS and Universal DDI, nor is the Serial Number.
- Synchronization initializes the RNAME field to the GCP value.  After the first-time sync, the RNAME value can be changed/managed on either side (GCP or B1) and synchronized.
- Universal DDI does not provide support for the creation of multiple Third Party DNS providers for the same GCP Project ID.
- Universal DDI does not allow updates or deletions to NS records synchronized with GCP since it is a system record.
