Before configuring network discovery for Microsoft Event Log, ensure that the *[WEC server is up and running](https://infoblox-docs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/UniversalAssetInsights/pages/1835925539)* and you have installed the *[Universal DDI Agent](https://infoblox-docs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/UniversalAssetInsights/pages/1710195646)*. 

To create a network discovery configuration for Event Log, complete the following:

- Go to** Integrations > Discovery > On-Prem.**
- Click **Create > Microsoft > Event Log**.

Configure the following settings in the wizard:
