There are certain minimum asset types that are required to be included for Network Discovery feature to work. 

- In the **Exclude Assets Type** step of the **Create Discovery Job Configuration** wizard, configure the following:
  - **Automatically Exclude New Asset Types**: A few asset types are supported and more asset types will be added in future. You can use this feature to exclude the asset types. There are two configuration options for including or excluding new asset types during sync:
    - Toggle the setting to ON to exclude new asset types from being synced to the Infoblox Portal.
    - Toggle the setting to OFF to include new assets during sync. By default, the setting is ON.
  - **Exclude Asset Types to Discover**: Expand the category and click the right arrow to exclude the asset. The following asset types are available:
  - Security
    - Security Groups
  - Networking Basics
    - VPC
    - Subnet
    - Internet Gateways
    - NAT Gateways
    - Transit Gateways
    - Elastic IP Addresses
    - Route Tables
    - Network Interfaces
    - VPN Connection
    - VPN Gateway
    - Customer Gateway
    - EBS Volumes
    - Direct Connect Gateway
    - S3 Buckets
    - S3 Bucket Public Access Blocks
    - S3 Bucket Policies
  - Networking Load Balancers
    - Elastic LoadBalancer
    - Listeners
    - Target Groups
  - Compute
    - Instances
    - Metrics
  - IP Address Manager
    - IPAMs
    - Scopes
    - Pools
- Click **Next**.
