If you select **Network Edge**, then **Inventory**, and **Virtual Devices,** a list of deployed Virtual Devices is presented, selecting one of these devices provides details

If you select Connect to a Network Service, you can choose from a number of choices to connect your NIOS members.

**Infoblox Grid Overview:**

The Infoblox Grid provides centralized management, configuration, and data replication across all appliances. For detailed concepts and configuration procedures, refer to the **[Infoblox Grid Administration Guide](https://docs.infoblox.com/space/nios90/318210347/What's+New)**** **

**Adding a Grid Member:**

To add a new Grid Member, ensure network reachability to the Grid Manager, prepare Grid join , and validate service settings post-join. Refer to the **“****[Adding Grid Members](https://docs.infoblox.com/space/nios90/686097129/Adding+Grid+Members)****”** section in the Infoblox Grid Admin documentation.

**Grid Manager Candidate(GMC):**

The GMC serves as a standby Grid Manager in case of planned or unplanned failover. It synchronizes all grid configuration and state, and can be promoted to Grid Manager when needed. Consult the **[GMC ](https://docs.infoblox.com/space/nios90/1340541197/Promoting+a+Grid+Master+Candidate)**section in the Admin Guide for process and best practices.
