Now that you have uploaded the vNIOS image, we will use it to create a custom image in OCI.

1. In  the OCI Console, open the Services menu.

2. Hover on **Compute** to expand.

3. Select **Custom Images**.

4. Click on **Import Image**.

5. In the Import Image pane, select a compartment from the Create in compartment dropdown if needed.

6. Enter a name for your image.

7. From the Operating system dropdown, select **Linux**.

8. Ensure **Import from an Object Storage bucket** is selected.

9. Use the Bucket dropdown to select the bucket where your image is stored.

10.  Use the Object name dropdown to select the vNIOS image you uploaded.

11.  For Image type, select **QCOW2**.

12.  For Launch mode, ensure **Paravirtualized Mode** is selected.

13.  Click on **Import Image**.

14.  You can monitor the progress on the Custom Image Details page. Wait for the Create Image operation to complete which may take 10 to 12 minutes.
