This page describes deploying NIOS in AWS with pay as you go on demand licensing. If you purchase licenses through Infoblox or an Infoblox Partner, skip this page and follow steps for [Deploy vNIOS Instance in AWS](https://infoblox-docs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DeploymentGuidevNIOSforAWS/pages/736395530). 

The AMI for NIOS PayGo can be accessed from the AWS Marketplace or directly in the AWS EC2 console.

### Deploy from Marketplace

1. To begin, in the AWS Marketplace, search for **Infoblox**.
2. Select the “Infoblox NIOS PayGo” listing.

3. Review details on this page. Hourly costs are based on AWS instance shapes, which correlate to Infoblox NIOS models.

4. Click **Continue to Subscribe**.
5. Read the Terms and Conditions. Click the link to view the EULA.
6. Click **Continue to Configuration**.

7. Select the **Software Version**.
8. Select your **Region** and click **Continue to Launch**.

9. From the Choose Action dropdown, select **Launch through EC2**.
10. Click **Launch**.

<span style="color: #ff5630">*Warning: Do not select the Launch from Website option. This option will launch the instance with a single network interface instead of the required two, and the instance will not function properly.*</span>

11. Clicking Launch will bring you to the launch instance wizard in the AWS Console. Continue from the [Enter Name and Add Tags](https://docs.infoblox.com/space/DeploymentGuidevNIOSforAWS/736395530/Deploy+vNIOS+Instance+in+AWS#Enter-Name-and-Add-Tags) section on the Deploy vNIOS Instance in AWS page.

### Deploy from AWS Console

1. To begin, in the AWS console use the Services dropdown menu to select **EC2** under Compute.

2. Select **Instances** from the EC2 menu.
3. Click the **Launch Instances** button.

4. Under Application and OS Images, enter **Infoblox** in the search bar and press **Enter**.

5. Select the **AWS Marketplace AMIs** tab.
6. Find the **Infoblox NIOS PayGo** listing. Click **Select.**

7. Review the Overview, Product details, Pricing, Usage, and Support tabs.
8. Click **Subscribe now**.

9. Continue deployment following steps from the [Enter Name and Add Tags](https://docs.infoblox.com/space/DeploymentGuidevNIOSforAWS/736395530/Deploy+vNIOS+Instance+in+AWS#Enter-Name-and-Add-Tags) section on the Deploy vNIOS Instance in AWS page. Skip the AMI selection as this already complete.
