1. Download the [Infoblox Threat Defense with DDI](https://splunkbase.splunk.com/app/8036) from Splunkbase.

2. Navigate to the Apps page in your Splunk SOAR instance.

2. Click Install App.

3. Drag and drop a .tar or.rpm archive of the app into the file field, or click in the file field and navigate to the location of the app file on your system.

4. Click Install.
5. After installing an app the new app is available on the Unconfigured Apps tab of the Apps page.

6. To configure the integration, navigate to Unconfigured Apps. Click the Configure New Asset button next to the integration.

7. Give the Asset a name and description and click on Save.

8. Enter the required parameters.

> ℹ️ This integration may need an Automation Broker if Infoblox NIOS and Splunk SOAR are not in the same network. This table lists the configuration variables required to operate Infoblox NIOS. These variables are specified when configuring a Infoblox NIOS asset in Splunk SOAR.

| VARIABLE | REQUIRED | TYPE | DESCRIPTION |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| url | required | string | URL (e.g. [https://10.10.10.10](https://10.10.10.10)) |
| verify_server_cert | optional | boolean | Verify server certificate |
| username | required | string | Username |
| password | required | password | Password |

9. You can test the connectivity by navigating back to Asset Setting and clicking on Test Connectivity button.

10. Optionally you can add Approval Settings and Access Control to the asset you created.
