### Actions

Actions represent specific tasks or operations that can be performed. These actions are fundamental to automating incident response and security operations workflows within playbooks. Actions can be triggered either through playbooks or manually.

### Playbooks

Playbooks are automated workflows that orchestrate security actions to respond to incidents and are designed to automate security operations with Infoblox on Splunk SOAR.. These playbooks help security teams efficiently block/unblock indicators, enrich IOCs, perform asset lookups, and automate response workflows with Infoblox DNS and DHCP data.

The playbooks avaialable as part of this integration are available here [Infoblox NIOS - Github](https://github.com/infobloxopen/infoblox_splunk_soar/tree/main/Infoblox%20NIOS).

#### Importing Playbooks

Perform the following tasks to import a playbook. The imported playbook is treated as a new playbook.

1. From the Home menu, select Playbooks.
2. Select the Import Playbook icon () to add a playbook to Splunk SOAR.
3. Drag and drop your .tgz compressed playbook file onto the Select Playbook Archive field, or select that field to browse to select the playbook archive from your file system.
4. Select Upload.
