The following are prerequisites for the Infoblox Integration to Splunk:

## Infoblox** **

1. License entitlements for Data Connector, DDI, Threat Defense, Infoblox IQ, and Ecosystem.
2. A [NIOS-X Server](https://docs.infoblox.com/space/BloxOneInfrastructure/204800163/Deploying+NIOS-X+Servers) with the Data Connector service enabled. For deploying the Data Connector, refer to [this guide](https://docs.infoblox.com/space/BloxOneThreatDefense/35472014/Data+Connector).
3. A valid Infoblox API key with IQ for Threat Defense access. For generating API Key, refer [Configuring User API Keys](https://docs.infoblox.com/space/BloxOneDDI/186778957/Configuring+User+API+Keys).

## Splunk

1. Splunk Account, to download and install the application from Splunkbase.
2. Splunk Enterprise or Cloud with a valid license. For more information refer to the [Splunk Documentation](https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/9.0.1/Installation/Whatsinthismanual).
