- Use the `ipRangeToExclude` parameter in the **destination configuration** to:
  - **Exclude specific IP ranges** from asset **synchronization** and **vulnerability scanning**
- This exclusion applies to:
  - **DHCP Lease events**
  - **Threat Defense (TD) log-based events**
- Helps maintain control over which assets are monitored, avoiding unnecessary scans of:
  - Lab/test networks
  - Trusted internal systems
  - Reserved or unmanaged address ranges
