## Infoblox

1. An NIOS-X server with the Data Connector service enabled. For deploying the Data Connector, refer to [this guide](https://docs.infoblox.com/space/BloxOneThreatDefense/35472014/Data+Connector).
2. License entitlements for Data Connector, IPAM,DHCP, Threat Defense, and Ecosystem needed.
3. A valid Infoblox API key. For generating API Key, refer [Configuring User API Keys](https://docs.infoblox.com/space/BloxOneDDI/186778957/Configuring+User+API+Keys).
4. To perform Sync with Qualys VM the respective Object itself or IP Space for any object must have **Qualys_sync **tag value set “true”
5. To add Asset in Asset Group in Qualys VM the the respective Object itself or IP Space for any object must have **Qualys_group **value tagged
6. To perform scan for that particular object in Qualys VM the respective Object itself or IP Space for any object must have **Qualys_scan **tag value set “true”
7. To perform scan for object which are received via Threat Defence Threat Feed Logs, the ipam address must be tagged as **‘VM_Scan_on_Policy_Hit’ **value set “true”
8. For **Threat Defense** to function properly, it requires both **DFP **and **DHCP services** to be running on a designated host.

## Qualys

1. Permission to create scans, access scan results, and manage assets.
2. Generate the following
  - **qualysUsername**: The username required for authenticating with the Qualys API.
  - **qualysPassword**: The password needed for Qualys API authentication.
  - **qualysInstance: **The URL of Qualys instance (eg: [qualysguard.qg2.apps.qualys.com](http://qualysguard.qg2.apps.qualys.com))
  - **qualysScannerApplianceName**: The name of the Virtual Scanner Appliance that will be used for scanning internal IPs.

> ℹ️ To locate the Scanner Appliance Name, log in to the Qualys portal, navigate to the "Scan" section, then select "Appliance" and note the name of any online or active scanner.

> 📝 For this integration to work, ensure that the default value of the Option Profile in Qualys Scan is set to **Initial Options**.
