The integration of Infoblox IPAM and Threat Defense with Qualys enhances network visibility and security by streamlining asset discovery and vulnerability management. When a new device or host connects to the network, Infoblox automatically updates Qualys, ensuring the device is included in its asset list for continuous monitoring. Additionally, if Infoblox detects any malicious activity through its DNS security solution, it triggers Qualys to assess the affected host in near real-time, helping to identify vulnerabilities. By combining Infoblox’s comprehensive device context such as IP address, MAC address, and DHCP fingerprint with Qualys’s robust vulnerability analysis capabilities, this integration enables security teams to quickly identify threats and prioritize responses based on the overall risk profile.
