When deploying the DNS Infrastructure Protection solution, you can install software-based subscription licenses on all supported appliances physical and virtual

Threat Protection licenses for software-based deployments are currently supported only on the following virtual and physical appliance models:

TE-1415, TE-1425, TE-2215, TE-2225, TE-4015, TE-4025, TE-926, TE-1516, TE-1526, TE-2326, TE-4126

IB-V1415, IB-V1425, IB-V2215, IB-V2225, IB-V4015, IB-V4025, IB-V926, IB-V1516, IB-V1526, IB-V2326, IB-V4126

IB-FLEX

Note: that IB-815 and IB-825 support DNS Infrastructure Protection but run in **unaccelerated mode.**

Please review the NIOS Release Notes for the version that you have deployed and review any appliance specifications.
