> ⚠️ Service log viewing is available for all hosts that you have configured and are in the following state: **Active**, **Degraded**, and **Disconnected**.

To view service logs, complete the following:

1. From the Infoblox Portal, click **System **> **Logs **> **Service Logs**.
2. On the *Service Logs* page, complete the following steps:

**Step 1**: Select **View logs** by clicking on the radial button associated with it.

**Step 2: **Select the service logs you want to view. The available choices include **DNS**, **DHCP (for Universal DDI), **and **DNS Forwarding Proxy**.

**Step 3**: Select the host for which you want to view the service log. Service logs can be viewed for only one host at a time. The drop-down list displays only the available hosts.

**Step 4:** Select a timeframe for the service logs you want to view. Timeframe options include 5 min, 15 min, 30 min, 1 hour, 3 hours, or 6 hours.

**Step 5**: Click on the **View Logs** button, to view the selected service log. Infoblox Threat Defense displays the log in a separate browser window. Depending on your browser settings, you can view your logs in a more readable format, such as JSON, if your browser supports that.
