> ⚠️ <span style="color: #000000">If you want to remove a NIOS-X physical server (B1-105) from the network, you must first disconnect the server from the network before you delete the server entry from the Infoblox Portal. Removing a physical server (B1-105) that is currently connected to the Infoblox Platform will initiate a pre-provisioned server entry in the Infoblox Portal.  For more information, see </span><span style="color: #000000">*[Deploying the B1-105 Appliance](https://infoblox-docs.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/createpage.action?spaceKey=BloxOneDDI&title=Deploying%20the%20B1-105%20Appliance)*</span><span style="color: #000000">.</span>

<span style="color: #000000">To remove a server, complete the following:</span>

1. <span style="color: #000000">From the Infoblox Portal, click </span>**Network > Services & Servers > Servers**<span style="color: #000000">.  </span>
2. <span style="color: #000000">Select the server you want to remove.</span>
3. <span style="color: #000000">Click</span><span style="color: #000000">** ... **</span><span style="color: #000000">next to the server > </span><span style="color: #000000">**Remove.**</span>
4. <span style="color: #000000">A confirmation message is displayed. Click </span><span style="color: #000000">**Remove **</span><span style="color: #000000">to delete the respective server or click </span><span style="color: #000000">**Cancel **</span><span style="color: #000000">to cancel the operation.</span>

> ❌ Removing a server will delete all of its application configurations that cannot be restored.
