When a server is in the **Awaiting Approval** state, it is waiting for your approval or denial on its connection.

> ⚠️ The approval or denial process applies to connecting virtual appliances and all appliances (physical or virtual) that were revoked.
To approve or deny a server connection, complete the following:
1. From the Infoblox Portal, click **Network > Services & Servers > Servers**.
2. Select the server for which you want to approve or deny its connection, and then click the** ...** menu next to the server.
3. Select **Approve** to approve the connection. In the* Approve?* dialog box, review the IP address and click **Approve**. The server status will change to **Online** when you approve the connection.

Select **Deny** to deny the connection. In the *Deny?* dialog box, click **Deny**. The server status will change to **Denied** when you deny the connection. Note that you must reboot the server if you want to re-connect it again.
To approve or deny multiple servers at the same time, complete the following:
1. From the Infoblox Portal, click **Network > Services & Servers > Servers**.
2. Select the server for which you want to approve or deny its connection, and then click the** ...** menu next to the server.
3. Select **Approve** to approve the connection. In the* Approve?* dialog box, review the IP address and click **Approve All**. The server status will change to **Online** when you approve the connection.

Select **Deny** to deny the connection. In the *Deny?* dialog box, click **Deny All**. The server status will change to **Denied** when you deny the connection. Note that you must reboot the server if you want to re-connect it again.

> ⚠️ When you approve the server connection, the server might temporarily enter the **Pending** state while establishing the connection. Once the server connection is established, the server state changes to **Online**. Once the server is online, you can activate applicable services or modify other configuration for the server.
You can also perform the following function from the **Server Actions** menu at the top of the list:
- **Create Template**: Select this option to create a snapshot of the server configuration and apply this template to other servers when applicable.
- **Disconnect**: Select this option to disconnect the server, including the removal of all current services and its configuration.
- **Revoke**: Select this option to revoke the server join token. In the *Revoke Server?* dialog box, click **Confirm** to revoke the server's join token. When you revoke the server's join token, the security certificate associated with the server becomes invalid, and the server status changes to **Revoked**. To reactivate the server, you must issue a new join token and approve the server connection again.
- **Refresh Status**: Select this option from the drop-down list to get information about the server and the associated application.
- **Replace**: Select this option to replace the current server with a different server from among the available options.
- **Remove**: Select** **this to delete a server. When you delete a server, the API key associated with it becomes invalid. Note that the Remove function applies only to virtual servers, not physical servers.
- **Troubleshoot**: Choose among the following options to diagnose issues impacting the server: **Traceroute**, **DNS Test**, **Traffic Capture**, **NTP Test**, and **Restart Server**.
- **Local Access**: Select this option to limit the server to local access only.
