Before you start the ISO installation on the TE-906 appliance, review the following prerequisites and assumptions:

- The TE-906 appliance ships with a locked BIOS. At this time, Infoblox does not support customer-initiated installation of the ISO image in the field during the initial deployment phase. If a customer returns a TE-906 unit (RMA) that has NIOS installed, Infoblox will unlock the BIOS and install the ISO image as part of the RMA process.
- The TE‑906 appliance includes a physical pull‑out tab on the left side of the rear chassis. The tab displays the serial number, which is visible without the appliance being powered or software installed. After ISO installation, the serial number also appears on the health screen.
- The NIOS-X server currently does not support the IPMI port on the TE-906 appliance.
- The USB port is currently displayed as one of the interface ports.
