Universal DDI complies with the following DHCP-DDNS RFCs:

| 2136 | Dynamic Updates in the Domain Name System (DNS UPDATE), <u>[RFC 2136](https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc2136)</u>: The complete DNS update mechanism is supported. |
| 4703 | Resolution of Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) Conflicts among Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) Clients, <u>[RFC 4703](https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc4703)</u>: DHCP-DDNS takes care of conflict resolution, for both DHCPv4 and DHCPv6 servers. |
