You can create a reservation as a static IP address for future use. Since these are not real MAC addresses, no client can receive these IP addresses from the address pool. You can reserve these static IP addresses and assign them to clients in the future. Universal DDI will track the IP addresses that are owned and managed by the NIOS-X Servers. These IP addresses are represented in IPAM as *Reservations*.

<span style="color: #000000">To view the list of reservations, complete the following:</span>

1. <span style="color: #000000">From the Infoblox Portal, click </span><span style="color: #000000">**Network > IPAM > Address Spaces**</span><span style="color: #000000">.</span>
2. <span style="color: #000000">Click </span><span style="color: #000000">**IP Space > Address Block >**</span><span style="color: #000000"> corresponding </span><span style="color: #000000">**Subnet**</span><span style="color: #000000">. The subnet displays the list of addresses configured for reservations.</span><span style="color: #000000">** **</span>
3. <span style="color: #000000">The application displays the following information:</span>

- <span style="color: #000000">**ADDRESS/NAME**</span><span style="color: #000000">: The IP address within the subnet.</span>
- <span style="color: #000000">**DESCRIPTION**</span><span style="color: #000000">: Additional information about the reservation.</span>
- <span style="color: #000000">**USAGE**</span><span style="color: #000000">: The type of object for which this address is being configured. </span>

<span style="color: #000000">To view the lease usage and state of the address range in the visualization view, click the </span><span style="color: #000000">**Visualization**</span><span style="color: #000000"> icon at the top navigation bar. The Infoblox Portal displays the following lease information:</span>

- **Select/Deselect All**: Click this check box to select all the following options or deselect all the options.
- **Abandoned**: These are IP addresses that Universal DDI cannot lease to any devices. The client reports that an IP address has been declined, meaning the client has detected the IP address is in use for any reason and has reported it to the server.
- **DNS**: These are IP addresses configured for DNS use.
- **Active Lease**: These are IP addresses that are currently in use for any reason by a DHCP client.
- **Conflict (red)**: These are IP addresses that have either a MAC address conflict or a DHCP lease conflict.
- **Fixed Address (yellow)**: These are fixed addresses.
- **Network/Broadcast (grey)**: These are the network or broadcast addresses.
- **Used (blue)**: These addresses are currently in use for any reason.

<span style="color: #000000">, then </span><span style="color: #000000">**Edit**</span><span style="color: #000000"> or select the check box for the respective record and click the </span><span style="color: #000000">**Edit**</span><span style="color: #000000"> button to modify an address range.</span>
- <span style="color: #000000">Click the menu button, </span>> Macro (inline-media-image)

<span style="color: #000000">, then </span><span style="color: #000000">**Delete**</span><span style="color: #000000"> or select the respective record and click the </span><span style="color: #000000">**Delete**</span><span style="color: #000000"> button to delete an address range.</span>
- <span style="color: #000000">Select an address range to view additional details. You can view additional information like start and end addresses, IP space, tags, and DHCP options. If you do not want to view the details in the right panel, click the information button, </span>> Macro (inline-media-image)

- <span style="color: #000000">Click the utilization details button, </span><span style="color: #e8e6e3"> </span>> Macro (inline-media-image)

<span style="color: #000000">, to view the address range utilization details or  click the tabular view button, </span>> Macro (inline-media-image)

<span style="color: #000000">, to view the details in a tabular format. </span>
- <span style="color: #000000">Enter the value that you want to search in the </span><span style="color: #000000">**Search**</span><span style="color: #000000"> text box. The application displays the list of records matching the keyword in the text box. </span>
- <span style="color: #000000">Click the filter button, </span>> Macro (inline-media-image)

<span style="color: #000000">, to filter the objects by </span><span style="color: #000000">**name**</span><span style="color: #000000"> and </span><span style="color: #000000">**description**</span><span style="color: #000000">. To save a filter after selecting the required parameters click </span><span style="color: #000000">**Save Filter**</span><span style="color: #000000">, specify a name for the filter, and click </span><span style="color: #000000">**Save**</span><span style="color: #000000">. To reload a previously saved filter, click the saved filters button,</span><span style="color: #e8e6e3"> </span>> Macro (inline-media-image)
