Infoblox IPAM NIOS-X Servers are data objects that link multiple IP addresses together. The IP addresses can be in the same IP space or different IP spaces. The addresses may also be defined for the same network or for multiple networks. When assigning an IP address, a reservation is created for each IP address.

One use case for an IPAM NIOS-X Server is for a network device that is connected to a public/external network and an internal network. Assigning an IP address from both networks allows administrators to find the relationship between the IP addresses while managing IPAM data.
