<span style="color: #000000">The </span><span style="color: #000000">**System **</span><span style="color: #000000">></span><span style="color: #000000">** Administration**</span><span style="color: #000000"> </span>><span style="color: #000000"> </span><span style="color: #000000">**User Access **</span>><span style="color: #000000">** User Groups**</span><span style="color: #000000"> page displays the following information for the user groups that are currently available in your system. For more information about role-based access control, see </span><span style="color: #000000">*[Managing Role Based Access Control](https://infoblox-docs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BloxOneCloud/pages/35463223)*</span><span style="color: #000000">.</span>

- <span style="color: #000000">**USER GROUP**</span><span style="color: #000000">: The name of the user group.</span>
- <span style="color: #000000">**USERS**</span><span style="color: #000000">: The number of users in this user group.</span>
- <span style="color: #000000">**DESCRIPTION**</span><span style="color: #000000">: The description of this user group.</span>

<span style="color: #000000">A user group contains a list of users that have identical access profiles. You can quickly grant access to new users or change the access profile for all the users in the same user group. You must define at least one user group as the default user group. All new users will automatically be part of the default user group. </span>

<span style="color: #000000">Infoblox Portal provides the following predefined user groups. You can also add custom user groups based on your business needs.</span>

| <span style="color: #000000">ib-access-control-admin</span> | <span style="color: #000000">Access Control Administrator Group</span> | <span style="color: #000000">This user group can view and administer licenses, users, user group, and access policies. Apply the </span><span style="color: #000000">**Access Control Administrators Role**</span><span style="color: #000000"> to this user group to grant the set of access control permissions.</span> |
| <span style="color: #000000">admin</span> | <span style="color: #000000">Global Administrator Group</span> | <span style="color: #000000">This is the global administrator group to which you can add admin users who can perform administrative tasks to all aspects of the Infoblox Portal.</span> |
| <span style="color: #000000">ib-ddi-admin</span> | <span style="color: #000000">Universal DDI Administrator Group</span> | <span style="color: #000000">This is the administrator group to which you can add admin users you want to allow read/write access to the Universal DDI service and perform administrative tasks to all aspects of Universal DDI.</span> |
| <span style="color: #000000">ib-ddi-user</span> | <span style="color: #000000">Universal DDI User Group</span> | <span style="color: #000000">This is the user group to which you add users you want to allow read-only access to the Universal DDI service and can only view Universal DDI related configurations and reports.</span> |
| <span style="color: #000000">ib-td-admin</span> | <span style="color: #000000">Infoblox Threat Defense Administrator Group</span> | <span style="color: #000000">This is the administrator group to which you add admin users you want to allow read/write access to the Infoblox Threat Defense service and perform administrative tasks to all aspects of Infoblox Threat Defense.</span> |
| <span style="color: #000000">ib-td-user</span> | <span style="color: #000000">Infoblox Threat Defense User Group</span> | <span style="color: #000000">This is the user group to which you add users you want to allow read-only access to the Infoblox Threat Defense service and can only view Infoblox Threat Defense related configurations and reports.</span> |
| <span style="color: #000000">user</span> | <span style="color: #000000">Global User Group</span> | <span style="color: #000000">This is the global user group to which you add portal users who have read-only access and can view only Infoblox Portal related configurations and reports. You cannot remove this user group.</span> |

<span style="color: #000000">You can also do the following:</span>

- <span style="color: #000000">Click  </span>> Macro (inline-media-image)

<span style="color: #000000"> to select the columns you want to display or use the arrow keys to reorder the columns.</span>
- <span style="color: #000000">Click  </span>> Macro (inline-media-image)

<span style="color: #000000"> > </span><span style="color: #000000">**Edit**</span><span style="color: #000000"> to modify the user group information. You can also select the respective user group and click the </span><span style="color: #000000">**Edit**</span><span style="color: #000000"> button to do so.</span>
- <span style="color: #000000">Click </span>> Macro (inline-media-image)

<span style="color: #000000"> > </span><span style="color: #000000">**Remove**</span><span style="color: #000000"> to delete a user group. You can also select the respective user group and click the </span><span style="color: #000000">**Remove**</span><span style="color: #000000"> button to do so.</span>
- <span style="color: #000000">Click </span>> Macro (inline-media-image)

<span style="color: #000000"> > </span><span style="color: #000000">**Make Default**</span><span style="color: #000000"> to make the user group the default user group. You can also select the respective user group and click the </span><span style="color: #000000">**Make Default**</span><span style="color: #000000"> button to do so. Note that if you do not assign a new user to a specific user group, the user will automatically be added to the default user group.</span>
- <span style="color: #000000">Select a user group to view additional details in the right panel. You can collapse the right panel by clicking</span>> Macro (inline-media-image)

- <span style="color: #000000">Enter the value that you want to search in the </span><span style="color: #000000">**Search**</span><span style="color: #000000"> text box. Infoblox Portal displays the list of records that match the keyword in the text box. </span>
- <span style="color: #000000">Click </span>> Macro (inline-media-image)

<span style="color: #000000"> and then </span>> Macro (inline-media-image)

<span style="color: #000000"> to filter data by the available values.</span>
- <span style="color: #000000">Click </span><span style="color: #000000">**Export to CSV**</span><span style="color: #000000"> to export the user data to a CSV file. The default file name is </span><span style="color: #000000">*Users.csv*</span><span style="color: #000000">. The file supports up to 50,000 rows of data.</span>

> ⚠️ <span style="color: #000000">You cannot delete the "user" group, because all users are added to this group by default.</span>
