## <span style="color: #000000">Configuring NIOS</span>

- Each member of NIOS Grid Master can be configured to send the DNS Query/Response logs and/or RPZ logs to specific Data Connector servers.
- To receive data from NIOS as DNS Query/Response logs or RPZ logs, or to receive IPAM metadata, you must have an RO user permission.

## <span style="color: #000000">Configuring DNS Query and Response</span>

To configure DNS Query/Response, do the following:

1. In NIOS, click **Data Management** >** DNS**.
2. On the **DNS** screen, select the member to be configured. Click** Edit**.
3. Click **Logging **>** Advanced.**
4. Update the Data Connector server’s IP address and the SCP username password provided while you were configuring the NIOS source.
5. Repeat this procedure to configure all members and to update the Data Connector servers to which the logs will be sent.
