You can configure Data Connector to send source data to the destinations supported for the source and data type in your traffic flow.

Data Connector supports the generic syslog (which Data Connector uses as the output mechanism), NIOS Reporting Server, Splunk, and Spunk Cloud. Data Connector supports multiple traffic flows of the same destination type (syslog and HTTP) to a single destination host. You can also configure multiple destinations of different types on the same Data Connector, for example, by using a single Data Connector to create cloud, reporting, and syslog destinations.

Before configuring destinations for a traffic flow, be sure to set them up properly:

1. Log in to the Infoblox Portal.
2. Click **Integrations** > **Data Connectors**.
3. Select the **Destination** tab, and view the following information for all source configurations:
  - **NAME**: The name of the configuration.
  - **DESTINATION TYPE**: The filter for the destination process.
  - **DESCRIPTION**: The description of the configuration.
  - **STATE**: The indication of whether the configuration is enabled or disabled. Automation scripts subscribed to through the Infoblox Ecosystem marketplace are disabled by default and must be enabled in order to function.

## Destination Configuration

In the details panel located to the right of the page, you can view the destination configuration. Click the information icon to open/close the panel.

## Filters

Click the filter icon to open the filter options panel. Destination configuration filters can be applied based on *Name*, *Destination Type*, *Description*, and *State*. 

## Search

Use the search functionality (search box) to conduct a local search based on the destination criterion. By default we have Infoblox Cloud Destination is listed

## Custom Column Selection

 You can choose what data is displayed in the table. The data columns in the table can be selected to view or unselected to hide from the data table. You can choose what data is displayed on the table.  

## High Availability and Failover Support for HTTP and Syslog Destinations

Data Connector supports high availability (HA) and failover configurations for HTTP and syslog destinations, including SIEM platforms. Users can configure two destinations per flow—one primary and one secondary. If the primary destination becomes unreachable, Data Connector automatically detects the failure and reroutes traffic to the secondary destination without requiring manual intervention.

The HA/failover capability helps ensure data integrity and continuity of log delivery by enabling seamless failover and reducing the risk of data loss, and eliminates the need for external load balancers. The http-out and syslog out  services have been enhanced to support multi-destination forwarding, offering greater reliability and operational flexibility.
