On the License Entitlement page you will gain access to the Infoblox licensing dashboards that provide an overview of your organization's license entitlements for the Infoblox Platform account. > 📝 Infoblox Portal removes subscriptions from the licensing dashboards that are over 60 days past expiration. ## **Universal DDI License Entitlements** The **Universal DDI License Entitlements Dashboard** is a powerful monitoring and management tool that delivers real-time insights into the usage and allocation of DDI, which includes DNS, DHCP, and IPAM licenses. This dashboard empowers organizations to effectively track their license utilization, optimize resource allocation, and ensure compliance with licensing entitlements. By leveraging the license entitlements dashboard, organizations can achieve a comprehensive understanding of their licensing landscape, facilitating informed decision-making and strategic planning for their DDI resources. You can use the **Search** option to locate a specific server or service deployment in the list. Click any value in the **Name** column to navigate to the corresponding server or service deployment details page for additional information about exceeded values. > 📝 For NIOS-X as a Service deployments, only DNS object counts are displayed. This section provides the following information: - **Management**: This area displays the total number of allocated user licenses. By default, the page presents data for the current day. - **Protocol Servers**: This area indicates the number of servers responsible for managing and delivering essential network services such as DNS, DHCP, and IPAM. Each chart clearly indicates the last update time for the displayed data. By clicking any point within the chart, a tooltip will appear, revealing the metrics associated with that specific data point. The table data corresponds to the metrics shown on the chart and pertains to the current month. If your account has multiple active Threat Defense licenses, they are ranked as follows: 1 - Advanced, 2 - Business Cloud, 3 - Business On-prem, and 4 - Essentials, with Advanced having the highest priority. You can increase the Dossier and Ecosystem event limits by purchasing addons. This section includes the following information: - **Subscription Plan: **Displays information about the user subscription entitlement. This information includes the subscription plan, and the plan’s start and end dates. Mouse over the tool tip to view additional information about the account's additional entitlements. - **Protected Users**:** **Displays the number of protected users associated with the subscription entitlement. A protected user refers to a user whose network activities are safeguarded by Infoblox's security solutions, particularly in the context of DNS protection and threat mitigation. - **Dossier Queries**: Displays information on the number of Dossier queries provided by the entitlement. - Advanced subscribers get 64K queries per year (inclusive of all protected users). - Business CLound and Business On-Prem subscribers get 32K queries per year (inclusive of all protected users). - **Ecosystem Events**: Displays the number Infoblox Ecosystem events associated with the entitlement. ![green_diamond_callout_trimmed_B.png](media://7c5508b2-1d6a-4894-9127-71077f84f7eb) ### **Trend Metric Analysis** The **Usage Analysis** displays a graphical representation of the numerical usage data displayed in the **Reporting** section. This section displays the following information: - **Queries per Protected User:** This metric illustrates the daily DNS queries generated by each account, encompassing all protected users. The solid blue line represents the number of DNS queries per account per day, while the dashed red line signifies the total number of queries allowed per protected user each day, capped at 3.5K queries. For instance, in the screenshot above, the average monthly utilization from September 2024 to February 2025 is noted as 1.2K. Additionally, the tooltip will display the time range used for calculating this average utilization. - **Dossier Usage**: This metric illustrates the total number of Dossier queries conducted per account annually, including all protected users. The solid blue line represents the daily query count per account, while the dashed red line indicates the total number of queries available per account each year, determined by the subscription level. For example, as shown in the screenshot above, the cumulative total utilization from September 2024 to February 2025 is 736 queries. - Advanced: 64K queries/year (includes all protected users) - On-Premises and Business Cloud: 32K queries/year (includes all protected users) - Essentials: Not applicable - **Ecosystem Events**: This metric illustrates the daily count of ecosystem events per user. It also supports takedown activity and threat hunting queries, with token usage calculated according to monitored entities, usage volume, thresholds, and contract-based allocation rules. Each section displays the total number of tokens linked to your account. ![The Threat Defense Token-based License Entitlement KPI ribbon.](media://0d7afc66-a743-4978-a060-db52c71de4fb) This section provides the following information for Security and Reporting: ### Security **Security: **The *Security *metric refers to the number of security tokens allocated to an organization account under a token-based entitlement. - **1K**: Indicates the account has **1,000 security tokens** available for allocation. - **Start Date (07/02/25)**: The day the entitlement becomes active. - **Expires on (07/02/27)**: The day the entitlement ends; tokens cannot be allocated if they are not part of an active entitlement. Tokens must be renewed after the contract period ends. ### Reporting **Reporting: **The *Reporting *metric refers to the reporting tokens allocated to the organization account under a token-based entitlement. Tokens are valid based on the contract. Tokens must be allocated within the active period. - **40**: Indicates the account has **40 reporting tokens** available, which are allocated when exporting Threat Defense logs(Security, DNS logs, etc.) from Infoblox Threat Defense Cloud to another platform (i.e SIEM. - **Start Date (07/16/25)**: The day the reporting entitlement becomes active. - **Expires on (07/16/26)**: The day this reporting entitlement ends. Tokens cannot be allocated if they are not part of an active contract. The trend metric analysis section is divided into two sub-sections: **Security** and **Reporting**. - The **Security** section includes metrics for Threat Protection and Add-ons. - The ***Reporting ***section includes metrics for Threat Protection and Add-ons. The tool tip reports the number of tokens consumed for each threat protection type. The legend indicates the threat protection types being enforced. Deactivate an active threat protection type in the legend by clicking on it. Deactivating a threat protection type will remove its data from the chart. Reactivate an inactive threat protection type in the legend by clicking on it. Reactivating a threat protection type will add its data to the chart. - **Add-ons**: This chart highlights specialized services consuming tokens. The legend indicates the active add-ons for the account. Deactivate an active add-on in the legend by clicking on it. Deactivating an add-on will remove its data from the chart. Reactivate an inactive add-on in the legend by clicking on it. Reactivating an add-on will add its data to the chart. ### Reporting - **Reporting / Average**: This chart tracks analytics/reporting token usage per environment. The metrics including the total number of reporting events and a breakdown of reported events in the environments. The legend indicates what environments are reporting during the last three months, including peak token usage and average token usage. Deactivate an active reporting environment in the legend by clicking on it. Deactivating a reporting environment will remove its data from the chart. Reactivate an inactive reporting environment in the legend by clicking on it.
