<span style="color: #000000">Based on your business needs, you can create portal admins and assign a specific user group(s) to them. Each user group defines the permissions the portal admins have.</span>

<span style="color: #000000">To create a new portal admin, complete the following:</span>

1. <span style="color: #000000">Log in to the Infoblox SSO Portal at </span>[<span style="color: #000000">https://sso.infoblox.com/</span>](https://sso.infoblox.com/)<span style="color: #000000">.</span>
2. <span style="color: #000000">Click </span>**<span style="color: #000000">User Access</span>**<span style="color: #000000"> -> </span>**<span style="color: #000000">Portal Admins</span>**<span style="color: #000000"> tab.</span>
3. <span style="color: #000000">In the </span>**<span style="color: #000000">Portal Admins</span>**<span style="color: #000000"> tab, click </span>**<span style="color: #000000">Create</span>**<span style="color: #000000">.</span>
4. <span style="color: #000000">In the </span>*<span style="color: #000000">Create New Portal Admin</span>*<span style="color: #000000"> dialog box, enter the following:</span>
  - **<span style="color: #000000">Name</span>**<span style="color: #000000">: Enter the name of the portal admin.</span>
  - <span style="color: #000000">From the drop-down list, select one of the following user types:</span>
    - **<span style="color: #000000">Interactive</span>**<span style="color: #000000">: Interactive users are users who can sign in to the SSO Portal. All signed-in users are allowed to create user API keys for themselves.</span>
    - **<span style="color: #000000">Service</span>**<span style="color: #000000">: Service users are service account users that are used to facilitate API authentication between devices. No signed-in users are involved in the service API requests. </span>
  - **<span style="color: #000000">Email</span>**<span style="color: #000000">: Enter a valid email address for the admin.</span>
  - **<span style="color: #000000">User Groups</span>**<span style="color: #000000">: Use the arrows to assign or unassign user groups for the portal admin. Select the desired user group and use the </span>**<span style="color: #000000">></span>**<span style="color: #000000"> and  </span>**<span style="color: #000000"><</span>**<span style="color: #000000">  arrows to move the selection between </span>**<span style="color: #000000">AVAILABLE USER GROUPS</span>**<span style="color: #000000"> (not assigned to the user) and </span>**<span style="color: #000000">SELECTED USER GROUPS</span>**<span style="color: #000000"> (assigned to the user). The </span>**<span style="color: #000000">>></span>**<span style="color: #000000"> and </span>**<span style="color: #000000"><<</span>**<span style="color: #000000"> arrows move all user groups in one section to the other based on the direction of the arrows. 5. <span style="color: #000000">Click </span>**<span style="color: #000000">Save & Close</span>**<span style="color: #000000"> to create the new portal admin.</span>
