BloxOne DDI creates and stores a user profile for each admin user. You can modify certain information in your user profile any time after the initial login. You can change your username and password to facilitate future logins. Note that when multiple users log in to BloxOne DDI using the same admin account, they share the same user profile and preference settings.

To change your username and password:

  1. At the top right corner of the navigation bar, click the administrator's name and select User Preferences from the drop-down menu.

  2. On the User Preferences page, complete the following:

    • User Settings:

      • Full Name: Displays your user name. You can set a new username according to the requirements that are displayed.
      • Time Zone: Displays the time zone. You can select a time zone from the drop-down list.
      • Email: Displays the email address associated with the respective username.
      • API Key: Displays the API key. Click Show to view the API key or click Hide to hide it.
    • Password: You can set a new password according to the requirements that are displayed.

      • Current Password: Enter your current password.

      • New Password: Enter the new password.  

      • Confirm New Password: Re-enter your new password.

  3. Click Update to save the changes, or click Cancel to discard them.

Click and select one of the following actions from the drop-down menu:

  • View our external Help Site to access online help pages.

  • View external Support Site to access the Infoblox Support Portal.

Note

When you define an object or modify an existing object in the BloxOne DDI application, you can click Expand All Sections to expand all sections simultaneously or click Collapse All Sections to collapse all sections simultaneously in the respective page. Click the Sections drop-down list to view the sections in the respective page. You can then click on a specific section to expand it and view or modify values.
